I saw something about the insane amount of badness in movie theatre popcorn on the news a few years ago! It's stuck with me ever since. No wonder it's sooo yummy!
The price alone is enough to keep me from buying snacks at movies. That said, we just never got into the habit of eating while we watch the movie. Saves us calories and money. :)
I read about the crazy calorie count of movie popcorn a few years ago when I was calorie counting.
