Pumpkin Chase 5k 2011

Today was a bright and crisp fall day. Just perfect for a 5k overlooking Lake Michigan and in a beautiful neighborhood with colorful autumn leaves.

It was a lot of fun! Hubby, me, my sister, and my brother ran the 5K. Hubby runs with me (and stays with me)—so we came in at 38:52. I was very happy with the results because last year we ran this same race in 41:57! So that’s a big improvement! My sister ran the race in 26 minutes and some seconds and my brother in 25 minutes! I’m very proud of them both—as fast as they are!! Way to go, guys!

They had a car leading the way with a boy in a pumpkin costume inside—cute!

My brother in law ran the 1 mile fun run with my neice and nephew. This was their first race and it was absolutely adorable! Way to go!!
