Happy New Year and Update
Wishing you all a happy new year!
We are still at the hospital. They will be putting in a trach. Because they cannot wean him off the ventilator. It will be a long road. Hope things turn around soon.
Hope things begin to look up for your father-in-law soon. I know having a loved one in the hospital (esp the ICU) is very stressful and mind-numbing. Just remember, he is getting great care and the staff are watching and following his progress.
Alissa, I am just so sorry that your 2012 is starting out like this. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Stay strong and remember to take care of YOU, while you are talking care of everyone else.
Hope you get to come home soon. Keep us posted.
