Mom….is that you?

I know I should be happy that I lost 3.5 lbs., but I am disappointed that I didn’t lose more and that I STILL haven’t reached my Onederland goal! I weighed in at 203.5, so I am still a couple of lbs. above my lowest. But I know I should remember that any loss is better than a gain. I have a co-worker that I share my weight loss stuff with and she with me, she told me that I need to remember how far I’ve come and give myself some credit. She is right, but I am getting frustrated with myself. But I can’t let that get the best of me because I don’t want to go backwards.

For breakfast this morning, I had oatmeal with PB and a sliced banana along with a glass of milk for 8 points.

Foodbuzz sent me Godiva coffee to try out. I love coffee and I love Godiva—so the perfect combination for me!

They mailed me two flavors: Pumpkin Spice and Caramel Pecan Bark. This morning I tried out the Pumpkin Spice along with some Pumpkin Spice Creamer for 1 point.

This was a very light coffee and it has a good flavor! Pumpkin Spice is my favorite flavored coffee for fall. It was perfect on this chilly morning!

For lunch, I had chicken noodle soup and a grilled cheese sandwich dipped in ketchup for 5 points.

I also had a serving of FF/SF chocolate pudding with fresh strawberries for 2 points.

On my last break, I ate FF popcorn for 4 points.

For supper, I made a crock pot supper—Ranch House Pork Chops. This tastes just like my Mom came here and cooked us supper! I had to do a double take and look at my crock pot and make sure it wasn’t my Mom! Winking smileIt wasn’t—could have fooled me! It was such a “home” type meal. I also had green beans, corn, tomatoes and a baked potato for 10 points.

My attempt to eat some veggies, as you can see. Just being honest. lol

And I was craving some ice cream, so I had a serving of vanilla ice cream with chocolate and caramel for 5 points.

I used 2 weekly points today. Well worth it to me because I feel satisfied. We all know that feeling satisfied can work wonders when you are trying to lose weight—no feelings of deprivation and wanting to eat everything in sight. Always a good thing!

  2. Do NOT get frustrated over that 200-199 mark.. I let it get to me and lost a LOT of ground over the summer. You'll get there, and worrying will only delay. Your work buddy has the right idea :))

  4. Congrats on the loss! Really buckle down with yourself now. Many people teeter on the edge of Onederland for a long time. Don't sabotage yourself.

I got those same coffees today!

  7. Agreed - being satisfied is where it's at. Lack of satisfaction is where late-night potato chips binging comes from!!
