Fiber One 80 Calorie Honey Squares Cereal Review and Giveaway #MyBlogSpark

fiberone80_logo

I was excited to try out a new Fiber One Honey Squares cereal that was sent to me through MyBlogSpark from General Mills. The cereal is only 80 calories per serving and has 40% of your daily fiber, 10g to be exact. That’s a lot of fiber! I had a bowl of cereal with milk and a bowl of fruit for only 3 points. A serving of the cereal is only 2 points—awesome!

I was delighted with the taste. They are sweet and delicious and it’s hard to believe they’re only 2 points. They were so sweet, I looked at the sugar content and there’s only 3g per serving—not too bad! I like to eat cereal plain as a snack—so these will be perfect for that!

They also sent me a pedometer that can be hooked up to your computer to track your steps and a neoprene iPod holder.

  1. My favorite breakfast is oatmeal with unsweetened applesauce mixed in with a lot of cinnamon. It doesn't keep me full until lunch since I'm hungry after my mid-morning workout and then I have breakfast #2!

  2. I have been dying to try this. The only cereal my husband will eat is Fiber One Cereal. So, we always have a ton of it on hand since we buy it when we see it on special. To be exact, we currently have 16 boxes on our refrigerator. I used to eat it also until I realized I didn't want to use 5 points just for 1 cup of it. Since I saw they were coming out with the 80 calorie one, I've been excited. Even though the 2 Points is only for 3/4 cup, that's still better than 5 Points for 1 cup. Thanks for the review. I definately have to try it now :)

  6. Yes - my breakfast keeps me till lunch time.
I have EGGO waffles with peanut butter and a drizzle of honey. Makes them taste more like a dessert than breakfast.

  10. I switch up my bfasts, but my fave that really does keep me full til lunch is a one slice of bread sprayed with butter and grilled in a skillet, a mock fried egg on top of the bread, a 2% cheese slice melted on top of the egg, and 2 slices of turkey bacon broke up and put on top of the cheese. YUM. :) Would love to try this cereal!

  18. My breakfasts are different every morning... depends on how much time I have. Egg whites and toast with some sort of steamed vegetable or greek yogurt, fruit and a filling cereal ~ FiberOne, Kashi, AllBran Buds, etc... or Toast, bacon, jam sandwich (Soo Good!) & fruit. Most keep me filled for about 3 hours.

  19. My breakfast usually keeps me full until lunchtime...but it's different each morning. I try to make sure I have either a Morningstar sausage patty or turkey bacon no matter what I'm having though for protein to keep me full.

My FAVORITE breakfast is probably waffles. I buy the low fat ones and honestly just top it with a little spray butter. It's one of my favorite snacks too...Hehe
