We spent the weekend at my parent’s house in Illinois. We had a lot of fun! I got a lot of activity in this weekend, which I am very proud of. Hopefully it will help with a couple of poor eating choices that I made. I’m still within my points, so it’s not terrible! I got in two workouts each day. Saturday, I went for a 3.27 mile walk with my Dad. He really keeps a good pace—I struggled to keep up with him and it was a good workout! And of course I did my 30 Day Shred each day. I also rode the stationary bike for 7.2 miles this morning. So lots of workouts! I had a lot of fun shopping with my Mom and my brother and overall it was a great weekend!
Happy Father’s Day to my Dad—the best Dad in the world.
We bought my Dad a gift card, but my sister and younger brother went together and got him a nice pair of Saucony’s! He has been walking a lot lately—which we’re all proud of him for!
My Mom got him a GPS, which was a super nice gift and perfect for his new job where he travels a lot.
My Mom made a deliciously healthy lunch. Everything was so pretty, I had to take some pictures to share so you can all drool.
Yummmmm—Mom’s home cookin’! The offer to come be my personal chef is still out there, Mom.
And a few shots of Hubby and I. Are we the only ones who get laughs when we say, “Let’s take a picture”, and then do something silly without the other one knowing? Ok…just us! lol
Ok, a nice one too.
And here’s my Dad, Mom and not so little anymore brother, Michael. Awwww aren’t they cute? And they’re all color coordinated.
Hubby and I made it safely home in good time! We’re actually planning on going for a run tonight after it cools down a bit.
Hope that you had a great Father’s Day and you were able to spend it with the ones you love!
We you Dad!! (And I’m sorry I accidently told you what you were getting from Mom for Father’s Day…Sorry Mom…you’re just finding this out! hehe)
