It’s FINALLY FRIDAY!! Even though this was only a 4 day week, it seemed to drag on and on.
For breakfast this morning I had oatmeal with strawberries and a glass of milk for 7 points.
I got up with hubby this morning, and since I declared today a rest day to rest up for the 5K race tomorrow, I got to spend some time reading blogs. I am so far behind but it’s so motivating to catch up with all of you!
I didn’t have any coffee in the fridge, so I had to make a pot of hot coffee today. 1 point.
On my first break, I was feeling kind of sick and thought it was because I was hungry, so I ate a PB/banana sandwich for 5 points.
I have a long period of time between breakfast and lunch since I have to get up so early in the morning—so eating something a little bigger snack on those days that I get up earlier isn’t a bad thing. I’m truly hungry. That made me feel a little better and I drank more water and felt 100% again. Not sure what that was about. Maybe from the coffee?
For lunch, I had a wrap that I made up of deli meat, cheese, tomatoes and a tiny bit of Italian dressing for 3 points.
WOW- this was AMAZING!
I also had a side of baked BBQ chips for 3 points. Sometimes I crave chips and a sandwich/wrap type meal.
And then I had FF/SF chocolate pudding for 2 points.
I have got to keep this out of the house:
I have a hard time staying out of it. It’s just too easy to grab a spoon and eat some. 5 points. I’m not going to buy it anymore. Period.
When work was finally over, I headed outside to water my flowers. They’re getting so pretty! I know this one is a Columbine:
Daisies are one of my favorite flowers, but Hubby doesn’t like them at all and always wants me to get rid of them. I dug out a few plants—but not many. I love the pretty white flowers!
I don’t know what this one is? But a very nice lady gave us a bunch of perennials last year and they really helped fill things in! These are gorgeous!

Remember when we just planted the garden? Everything is coming up very nicely! Everything just shot up these past couple of days.
For supper, I had grilled chicken, roasted veggies and potato salad for 9 points.
Today was HOT—in the 90’s, so I was craving some ice cream for dessert. I had Monkeying Around banana ice cream for 5 points.
It hit the spot!
I’ve used 7 weekly points for the day. Looking back at my pictures, I was really craving carbs today for some reason! Can working out make you crave carbs?
Any plans for the weekend? Hubby and I are going to run a 5K and hopefully spend some time at the pool if it doesn’t rain! There’s a 40% chance of Thunderstorms tomorrow—so I hope they hold off at least until the 5K is over! Can’t wait!
