This week I gained 1.8 lbs., but the scale isn’t the only way to measure my progress. I’m confident that weight will come off soon. I’ve still lost a few pounds this month—so no need to get discouraged!
I am definitely starting to see progress in the way that I look. I even feel smaller. I feel really, really good—lots of energy and just overall improvement in mood, etc. My clothes are getting loose too.
I went to the gym yesterday and walked on the treadmill and then tried out the arc trainer. The arc trainer is a fantastic workout! I was literally dripping in sweat and I only made it 5 minutes! My thighs are super sore this morning—that’s a good feeling!
It’s nice to be able to switch up my workouts since I have access to a gym. I really want to try out the stair climber—maybe I’ll try that today. I’m still nervous when I go to the gym and I don’t like to be on a machine if there are a lot of people around—hello, social anxiety! But I’m facing my fears and trying my hardest.
Since my legs are sore today, I think I will try to get in an arms strength training session today.
I’ve been to three Planet Fitness locations now and my home gym location is still my favorite—so that’s good since it’s the one I will be going to the most often! I plan on trying another location today. I always follow up my workout with a massage and that feels pretty amazing on my muscles.
