The 30 Day Shred workout DVD is by far the best workout DVD. Almost a year ago, I challenged myself to complete 30 straight days of this workout and I succeeded. I didn’t lose a ton of weight, but I could feel differences in the way that my clothes fit and in my overall fitness level. This workout definitely gets your heart rate up!
This weekend I picked up another Jillian Michael’s workout DVD (which by the way is another great workout) and I saw this one for a good price and had to pick it up to give away to one of you guys- my lovely readers!

ReplyDeleteI have it, too. I agree--it's one of the best, by far! I love that it's broken down into 20 min. sessions. SO much bang for your buck and just PERFECT for busy folks, especially busy moms!
ReplyDeleteI don't have this! I am working out in the freezing cold this winter because we sold our treadmill last year. Maybe not a good decision since it's supposed to be 10 degrees this week.
ReplyDeleteI love this one but have it already. good luck everybody
ReplyDeleteI actually lost mine in the move. I definitely was obsessed with this workout! I follow your blog!

ReplyDeleteI run on my treadmill in the winter to stay active. - angie
ReplyDeleteTo keep things interesting I run speed intervals, run and walk, listen to my favorite radio morning show and always a must, start my morning coffee right before I jump on the tread mill so I can smell it while I run! It motivates me to run faster so I can get to my cup o' joe faster! :) - Angie
ReplyDeletePS I was just thinking I should get this video! Hope I win.
My fave workout dvd is Ab Jam.

Favorite workout DVD-this is not a DVD but I taped Denise Austin Fit and Light off television YEARS ago and I still LOVE those things!
ReplyDeleteI'm staying active this winter by starting the Female Body Breakthrough workout plan. It's a lot of strength training!
ReplyDeleteI keep my workouts interesting by setting new goals. I'm running a 10K in April! I already paid for it so I HAVE to do it!
ReplyDeleteI just did this today since we're all snowed in here. BLOWN away with how effective the workout was. It didn't take long at all either. I did 2 days. I'm so sure tomorrow's gonna hurt.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite workout DVD (actually video - YIKES) is a Susan Powter one that is interval training... At my heaviest weight, it was the only exercise video I could get through completely. - Traci
ReplyDeleteStaying active this winter -- having an accountabilty partner is key for me (I guess that is kinda why WW works for me too) :) My friend/neighbor and I have been walking on Wed/Fri mornings at 530a since the end of October. We started out at 2.2 miles and now we are up to 3 miles. The week of Christmas we added another day - so now we are doing Mon/Wed/Fri. Hubby and I did a Turkey Strut 5K on Thanksgiving; and on New Year's Eve we did a 5K that started at midnight. Having a 5K that I'm working toward helps keep me motivated -- the next one is March 5th. I've ran/walk and walked but my ultimate goal is to run one. :)
ReplyDeleteTo keep variety - in addition to walking I try to do a Circuit Training class; Low Impact aerobics class or FitPraise class each week... helps mix it up! :) - Traci
ReplyDeleteI follow your blog! Recently started and loving it! Thinking about starting something like this myself.

I LOVE workout videos. Too much anxiety to go to the gym for long periods of time! You've inspired me to get more!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite workout video: 10 minute solutions Fat Blasting Dance Mix!! It's really fun and I can vary which ones I do based on how much time I have, etc.

To stay active this winter I am doing workout videos from home in the afternoons, gym in the morning 3 days a week, and taking walks on weeks with friends/my man. :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad you asked about how I keep my workouts interesting! I recently was told I should be listening to certain podcasts (I'm making a "career shift") to stay on top of things, and they make the time go by so fast on the treadmill/elliptical/bike. Otherwise I like to do different things each day of the week to keep it interesting: different machines, strength training, different videos, new music on my iPod :)
