How was your weekend? I had a great one! I got a lot of activity in this weekend and am feeling great because of it. We went for a bike ride/hike, I did the 30 Day Shred everyday, and I also ran 2.17 miles yesterday. I’m hoping to see some results from this hard work! Be sure to check out my posts on our bike ride/hike, and the garden update.
For breakfast this morning, I had a cup of oatmeal with 1/2 cup blueberries and a glass of 1% milk for 7 points.
I decided to get my 30 Day Shred workout done first thing this morning. I moved up to 8 lb. weights today and felt much more challenged. I burned 182 calories. Day 4 complete!
I sipped on Duchess Gray tea all morning for 0 points.
I was really hungry on my first break, so I ate light toast with an egg on top for 3 points.
I also made a green smoothie with 1 cup spinach and 1/2 cup each of strawberries and mango, with yogurt for a total of 1 point.
For lunch, I had a BBQ pork salad with feta, pecans, and tomato for 8 points.
And then I had a No Pudge! brownie for 3 points.
I was really craving that today! Yummy!
On my last break, I made an iced latte for 1 point.
After work, I headed outside to mow the lawn. Because I’m a nerd, I used RunKeeper to see how far I walk when I mow the lawn. I was surprised to see it was only .51 mile—it sure seems longer than that! I don’t think it tracked correctly—it looks like it may have lost signal a couple of times. It took me 50:42 and I burned 287 calories!
For supper, I had a grilled Boca Burger with mushrooms and onions on top, along with seasoned potato curls for 6 points.
For dessert, I had FF/SF vanilla pudding for 2 points.
I have 1 point left for the day.
Tomorrow is my first WW meeting—I’m hopeful that this will help me get to my goal weight but I’m also nervous about going! I’ll be sure to recap tomorrow night!
Don't be nervous about the meeting, they are all very laid back. You can talk or not talk, and people are friendly. We're all in the same boat.
ReplyDeleteYou'll be just FINE at the meeting Alissa. It is a very friendly atmosphere!!! Can't wait to hear what you think.
