I’m trying to work on a new header for my blog- it’s a mess right now- but I’m working on it as I get a chance!
For breakfast this morning I had oatmeal with peanut butter and a banana along with 1 cup of 1% milk for 6.5 points.
This was really good this morning!
I was feeling really stressed out this morning- I started snapping at hubby for no good reason and realized that I needed a break. I decided it would be more beneficial for me to get caught up on reading for school and things around the house today than it would be for me to attend class. Attendance only counts in one of my classes. This was the best thing I could have done today! It was time for a little me time to get things together again.
I tried to sleep in, but I was just feeling so overwhelmed I couldn’t sleep so I decided to get up and do something about it. So I did laundry as I waited for my morning cup o’ java to brew.
I drank this with a little bit of milk for .5 point.
I immediately got started on my reading for school and got a lot accomplished in the morning alone! What a great feeling to get caught up.
Mid morning I was feeling hungry, so I snacked on a 1/2 cup of mixed grapes for .5 point.
These grapes have been so crisp and flavorful and have been on sale for like .79 cents a lb! You can’t beat that!
I accomplished even more reading for school and did more laundry and before I knew it, my stomach was growling for some lunch!
I made a salad of: 3 cups of lettuce, 1 boiled egg white, 1/2 cup of roma tomato, 2 oz. avoacado and a Tyson chicken patty sliced on top with light ranch dressing for a total of 8 points.
That is 5 servings of veggies in one salad! Gotta love that!
I also had a sandwich thin topped with whipped chive cream cheese for 1.5 points.
I tried my best to get my water in today, which I try to do the day before WI. I was getting tired of plain water, so I added some lime to change things up.
For dessert, I had banana soft serve with a tad bit of whipped cream for 2 points.
A while later I had 1/2 cup of Naked Mango Madness for 1.5 points.
I also had this mix for 2.5 points.
I started to get really tired and wanted to snack. Anyone else want to snack when they’re tired? My body must need something, but I’m not sure what. Maybe I was just craving sugar. So after the juice and the snack mix I tried my best to stay out of the kitchen so I would have some points left for supper!
I continued with homework and got to a good stopping point and decided to go out and mow the lawn. I was glad for the break- I was getting tired of reading! It took me 43 minutes and I burned 263 calories- not bad! It was so dry and warm outside, by the time I was done I was covered in sweat and dirt. Yuck!
But it actually rained a little bit in the late afternoon- total change in the weather! I think it’s supposed to start cooling down again now. Kind of relaxing to see a nice gentle rain shower!
You guessed it- I got back to reading. Pretty soon it was time to get supper ready, another simple and easy to follow HG (Hungry Girl) recipe from my 1-2-3 cookbook. This was called Stuffed Chick Cordon Bleu and it was amazing! I also had mysterious mushrooms and squash for 5.5 points.
For dessert, I had a pumpkin cupcake with a little whipped cream for 2 points.
I am going to admit that I am having a tough time with eating tonight. After lunch, I started to get hungry and wanted to snack and it hasn’t stopped since then. I will admit I had a few almonds that I didn’t take a picture of, so I probably went into some activity points tonight. I’m trying my best to stay out of the snacks! I don’t know what this is about? I’m usually ok.
I am a little nervous about WI tomorrow. Not really sure how it’s going to go- but I’ll take whatever I get knowing that it’s the overall journey that’s important.

You feel hungry all the time due to hormones...I have days like that as well....now have nothing in my house so when I want to eat all day I only can eat fruit...LOL
