Did everyone check out my Jolly Time giveaway post?! Make sure to check it out and stay tuned for more entry opportunities!
I hope you all had great weekends! I did! It went way too quickly though. I did some baking, homework, cleaning, relaxing, grocery shopping, ran a little over a mile Friday night and ran 3.2 miles Sunday night, put out my fall decor, admired the fall scenery and went out for a meal at Panera Bread. I think those are my highlights for the weekend!
I am so excited about Panera bread. Has anyone been there lately? They now post their calorie information on the menu! That makes it SO easy to make a healthy choice! I had already planned what I was going to get, but then I thought, well I could get this soup instead and I’d have 50 more calories that I could use on this salad, etc. I am in love with this and I hope that other restaurants follow suit!
For breakfast this morning, I had a slice of whole wheat toast with peanut butter and banana along with a cup of 1% milk for 8 points.
I had my usual coffee with FF vanilla creamer for .5 point.
On my first break, I wasn’t really feeling hungry so I did laundry instead. I love being able to get things done around the house on workdays- I am still loving working at home and it sure looks like this is going to be permanent! :)
For lunch, I had teriyaki chicken wings along with a salad and a little bit of Raspberry Vinaigrette for 5 points.
I also had an apple and peanut butter for 3 points.
For my last break, I felt kind of snacky, so I had a 1/2 serving of this yummy mix I made for 2.5 points.
For supper, I made another recipe out of my HG cookbook. This time it was Pan Fried Chicken Parm. This was delicious and very easy. I also had green beans and 1 1/2 slices of homemade Italian herb bread topped with light margarine for a total of 6.5 points.
For dessert, I had another HG cook book recipe- Caramel Pumpkin Pudding cupcakes. YUM! And I can’t believe these are only 2 points. Simply amazing.
After supper, we rested for a while and then headed out for a short run. Total time was 25 minutes. Overall distance 1.37. Walked to and from our route and ran a total of 1.17 miles straight. We were both pretty tired tonight. I burned 203 calories. We have 9.4 miles to go to meet our 25 mile challenge- we’re getting there!
I have 3.5 points remaining today and will probably have a small snack of some sort. I hope you had a great Monday!
I like Panera Bread (except for their coffee). The You-Pick-2 combos make it easy to eat relatively healthy if you want.
