Another Beautiful Day

I had the opportunity to sleep in this morning and I tried to but I was wide awake. So instead, I got up early and cleaned our bedroom, did laundry and a few other tasks that needed doing.

For breakfast, I had a scrambled egg with turkey sausage crumbles, 1/2 serving of oatmeal with blueberries and skim milk for 7 points.

And then it was back to doing household chores. I want the house to be clean and looking good!

My friend asked me to work a half day for her today, so I did. While working, I sipped on coffee with Almond Joy creamer for 1 point.

I was pretty happy when I saw that stuff in the stores again! It’s my favorite!

On my break, I ate a banana for 0 points.

I had to eat lunch at my desk because I didn’t get a lunch break. I made a sandwich with FF turkey, FF cheese, turkey, tomato, lettuce and light miracle whip for 5 points.

I also ate some Trader Joe’s BBQ Popped Chips for 3 points.

It’s been so long since I’ve had those—LOVE them!

I finished it up with 2 Cuties clementines for 0 points.

They are just perfect this year. Like candy. Sweet and juicy!

I prepared ahead again and dressed in my workout clothes while working. Right after work, I headed out the door for a run. Another BEAUTIFUL, SUNNY and WARM January day in Iowa—so nice and SO different than normal! It was 54 degrees!

I planned today to be a 20-25 minute run day, but once I got out there I decided I would much rather run my 2 miles outside than on a treadmill. Plus, it’s much harder for me to run 2 miles straight on a treadmill than it is outside. On the 20/25 minute days—I’m ok doing run/walks on the treadmill if I want to. So instead, I ran my 2 miles! I completed the 2 miles in 24:14, which is a pretty good time for me! Overall, I did 2.76 miles in 39 minutes. That’s including a 3 minute warm up walk and a longer cool down walk home. I burned 419 calories.

I hope that’s not my last outdoor run (in Iowa) this winter…but we are looking at snow in the forecast tomorrow. Fingers crossed it doesn’t happen!

I drank 2 cups of water when I got home and then I decided to try out ZipFizz, which I’ve been needing to review! I tried the  Limited Edition Creamsicle flavor for 0 points.

Stay tuned next week for my review (and giveaway)!

I have all of my posts scheduled for our cruise week—thanks to those of you who wrote guest posts! There will be some good posts next week…as long as Blogger works correctly and my posts actually publish at the right times! Smile

Hubby got home nice and early today—which was nice on this spring time feeling day!

We decided since we were both hungry that we’d eat an early supper. I made Perfect Roasted Potatoes (thank you to Staci for pointing out I never added this to my recipe page! It’s now there.), teriyaki chicken wing wraps made with high fiber tortillas, tomato and a little FF ranch for 7 points.

Delish!

I finished it up with a No Pudge! brownie for 2 points.

Amazingly, I still have 5 points left for the day. I’m not so sure what made today different than most days. I should have eaten more veggies though!

Tomorrow is WI day and I’m pretty sure I’ll at least have a loss! Fingers crossed!
