Baby Girl’s Nursery Pictures

I promised you pictures of the nursery—so here they are!

Just a little update, the due date is 4 weeks away so we’re almost there!  I am waiting for the next 4 weeks to feel miserable—but so far I am feeling really good. Sure, I have my discomforts in the evenings, turning over in bed, and GETTING out of bed are difficult—but not so bad at all. I have been lucky.

People are just now starting to say “this is the first time I’ve noticed you were pregnant!” and things like that, so I’m really showing now. It’s also fun to see baby girl’s movements in my belly.

But here are the nursery photos! Just a little bit more work to do and we get the dresser this coming week. I am SO happy with how it turned out. And my husband is AMAZING for doing almost all of the hard work on this! I dreamed it up and he did the work. <3

I gave my artist sister in law a general idea of what I wanted and she painted these up.  They say “Don’t worry ‘bout a thing ‘cause every little thing is gonna be aright”.

This is old furniture that I had custom painted locally (super cheap!)

I’m in love with these curtain rods

So the room is about ready for her arrival! I want to add a book shelf and hubby is going to build storage shelves on one side of the closet. I have these cute bins from Target picked out to go on those shelves…I see they’re on sale!

  3. I love the pink and gray! For a bookshelf, you should google "using gutters for bookshelves." I thought it was SUCH a neat idea! SIL did a great job on those pics. I wish I had some talent like that!!! Lol Good to see an update, and can't wait to see pics of baby girl when you are able and ready to post them.

  4. Gorgeous! What a beautiful space. I can't believe it's big enough that you still got to keep part of your guest room. Very practical.
