Happy New Year!

Did 2013 fly by for anyone else? Wow!

I am both excited and nervous to ring in 2014. This year will bring a new chapter into hubby's and my life. In 4 1/2 short months our family will grow! Being the worry wart that I am, I am filled with all of the anxieties that I think most first time mothers have. But I am inspired to be a wonderful mother and fill my new role with all of my heart. And one of the best things is that I'm not in this alone... I have the most amazing husband and it makes me smile when I imagine him as a dad. Truly thankful!

I wish you all a happy new year! May you set goals for yourself and value yourself enough to achieve them. Remember that the physical things are not what's most important. As my dad recently told me, "Enjoy the experience. Life is too short not to". My goal is to start enjoying today and leave tomorrow's worries in God's hands. This will take some work!

I look forward to returning to blogging regularly later this year. Whether it be a continuation of A Journey to Thin or, most likely, a new forum to discuss the next leg of my journey and anything else that pops into my head. I will be back though! I hope you will stay around to join me as I begin the next chapter.
