Thursday-Sunday were bad days for me eating wise. I ended up going over my flex points by Saturday. I’m disappointed in myself.
I haven’t felt myself since Thursday of last week. I think it’s hormones or something and I know that always makes me want to eat. But I’ve felt depressed, sad, tired, and just not myself.
Add that on top of having a few social gatherings and it just didn’t go so well.
But I’m continuing on. I hate to have messed up so soon. I didn’t get a chance to weigh this morning, so I’m really not sure how it affected me.
We had a guest at our house again so I wasn’t able to get a picture of my breakfast. I ate scrambled eggs with turkey sausage crumbles, a piece of light toast with PB, fruit, and skim milk.
My morning was just a disaster. Frustrations. When things finally got figured out, I was able to enjoy my coffee with vanilla creamer, even though it was cold by then.
On my break, I ate a banana.
And light WW string cheese.
Look what I got in the mail today.
Yay! Thanks, Zippearz!
For lunch, I ate a salad with shredded BBQ, tomatoes, and almonds.
I finished it up with leftover fruit from breakfast.
I worked for a while and then had to leave for an interview. When I got home, hubby called and asked me if I’d run to his parents to pick up some Missouri peaches, so I spent the rest of my afternoon running out there and then back home. I didn’t get the work done that I wanted to, but that’s just the way it goes.
On the way out, I drank iced coffee.
By the time I got home, it was time to leave for a chiropractor appointment. Finally got in for my neck, which has been hurting since I rammed my head against the side of the pool while swimming. It was hard to believe it had been 3 years since I’d been there!
For supper, we had grilled chicken, light cottage cheese, and refrigerator pickles.
I also made a side salad with spinach, strawberries, a little cheese, pecans and sesame dressing.
And for dessert, we had light cheesecake with fresh blueberry sauce on the top.
So good!
We plan on heading up to the pool to do a little swimming this evening. I’d rather just go to bed, but I know a little exercise would be good for me.
Hope you had a good Monday!
I saw the news on CNN I hope the girls get found. It is truly heartbreaking.

I might have missed this in previous posts but wondering if you drink water during the day as well ? I struggle when it's cold, but otherwise manage.....lately I struggle!
ReplyDeleteA breakfast cereal bar is easy to make at home and even home-made Granola is especially tasty and a great way to cheer you up on a Monday morning.

Does blogging your food help keep you accountable? If so, it might be good to try blogging the previous day's meals in the morning, which would include everything you had after dinner and at night.
