Zipfizz Review and Giveaway

Zipfizz sent me their product to review. I am not a fan of energy drinks, but hubby is—so I agreed to do a review with him in mind.

I hate it when he drinks energy drinks because of how unhealthy they are. They are full of empty calories. He has actually limited his intake of them because of all of the calories.

So when I read about Zipfizz, I was very intrigued because they are only 10 calories each, have no sugar, and are supposed to provide energy for 4 to 6 hours.

The powder comes in cute little tubes:

You just add water and shake it up. But be careful because it really does have fizz! I used the bottle they sent me, shook it up, and the top popped off!

So what are some of the key benefits?

Zipfizz comes in five flavors, including: Grape, Orange Soda, Pink Lemonade, Berry, Citrus, and also the limited edition Creamsicle.

So Zipfizz is obviously a healthier alternative to many sports and energy drinks, but does it taste good?

I don’t like the taste of regular energy drinks. I don’t like the after taste, especially. With that in mind, maybe I’m not the best person to do this review!

Enter Hubby—who DOES love energy drinks. He thought they tasted great.

I wasn’t a fan of the Creamsicle—something about it reminded me of those cold medicine tablets you drop in water and they fizz.

But I LOVED the Grape flavor. So delicious. I would definitely drink that as an energy drink—especially for only 10 calories and since they only have 2g of carbs and no sugar—they’re 0 points! Now that’s nice!

  1. The time of day that I need extra energy is definitely late afternoon when I get off work. All I want to do is go home and sit on my behind. Not cook, go to the gym, clean or anything else. So it takes some motivation on my part to get to the gym, go to the store if I need something for dinner, etc.

  4. My energy goes kapoot at about 3 every afternoon. I drink coffee to help but doesn't always work. I'd be most interested in trying these prior to a run tho. I've used those energy gel packs in the past for long runs and they seem to help!

  15. I'm always starting to hit a slump around 3-4 PM - and I don't want to have a big mug of coffee then, since I need to go to sleep on the early side. This seems like such a good thing to give me a safe pick-me-up with the B12!

  16. I need a pick-me-up first thing in the morning. I work a wacky schedule...5:30pm-2am, so I don't always get as much shut-eye as I would like.
