A couple of months ago, I had the opportunity to participate in a Yoplait Greek Snack Break, featuring Maria Menounos and General Mills Bell Institute of Health and Nutrition Registered Dietitian Christina Meyer-Jax. I received some great tips on snacking. You can view clips of this event here.
Yoplait, along with My Blog Spark, sent me coupons to try out the new Yoplait Greek Yogurt. By now I’m sure that you have seen this in stores:
It is a great and delicious snack option at 4 Points Plus.
Snacking Survey Results – Snacks are leaving women UNSATISFIED!: According to a recent survey conducted by Yoplait Greek yogurt, nearly all female participants admitted to needing a snack to get through the day yet, more than half of women claimed their typical snack foods lack flavor and three-quarters said their snacks leave them feeling unfulfilled.
Expert tip: Registered Dietitian Christina Meyer-Jax teamed up with Yoplait Greek and talked about the benefits of protein saying, “More than half of women surveyed said protein is an ingredient they look for in their ideal snack - it’s also an important component of a healthy diet, serving as a building block for strong muscles, and alongside calcium and vitamin D, to maintain healthy bones. Come snack time, I recommend reaching for fat-free, protein-rich snacks, like Yoplait Greek.”
Yoplait Greek yogurt details: Each 6-oz cup of Yoplait Greek yogurt is fat free and has two times the protein of the leading yogurt – packed with 14-17 grams of protein per cup. It also has a thick and creamy texture to help satisfy hunger and is available in six flavors: Honey Vanilla, Plain, Key Lime – and three new fruit on the bottom flavors of Strawberry, Blueberry and Peach. You can find delicious Yoplait Greek recipes online here.
Yoplait, along with My Blog Spark, has offered to send one lucky reader a Yoplait Greek cooler!
This would be perfect for bringing your healthy, filling snacks to work- like Yoplait Greek yogurt!
