*** Kind of funny, I wrote this post last night- went to hit publish and realized that Blogger was broken, too! But here’s the post as I was going to publish yesterday- just a bit late. I am still missing some of my posts and comments, which is a little disappointing for those of you who entered the Yoplait Greek cooler giveaway which is set to end today. If you entered, you may want to check back and make sure your entry is still there, if not- enter again just in case they don’t come back!***
For breakfast this morning, I had oatmeal with strawberries and a glass of milk for 7 points.
I bought $8 worth of strawberries last week and they looked beautiful on the outside, but the store had packaged them too tight and most of the strawberries were starting to go bad. It was pretty disappointing! So I threw away what I had to and cut the rest up to try to make them keep a little better.
Before signing in to work, I made an iced latte for 2 points.
Mid-morning, my headset stopped working, so I had to head into the office to work. On the way there, I snacked on a light cheese stick and an apple for 1 point.
I didn’t have time to make a lunch, so I ended up going to Sonic. I got a grilled chicken wrap for 10 points.
It was SOOO hot today!
I was craving something cold- like ice cream. I grabbed the lowest calorie ice cream cone I could find at a gas station- thinking it was only 170 calories- so I was shocked to find out it was 9 points- AFTER I ate it…
I had seen the FAT calories- the actual calories were 310- Ugh! Not a good choice after all- but it was good. But not THAT good.
On my last break, I ate a Yoplait Greek Blueberry yogurt for 4 points.
Make sure to enter the Yoplait Greek cooler giveaway if you haven’t already!!
When I got off of work- I headed to Best Buy to pick up a new headset. I had to run a few errands at Target also. I got a new swimsuit top since mine is literally SWIMMING on me (har har ). I was so happy to get an XL in the regular MISSES sizes! I couldn’t believe it!
I also noticed that Starbucks has a new Frappuccino- Mocha Coconut or something like that. I am a huge fan of coconut- so I will have to try that!! It’s really funny- I have just recently discovered my love of coconut. My Mom HATES coconut- absolutely cannot stand it. Well, I’ve found that I LOVE the taste, LOVE the smell- love everything about it! Even the lotions I buy have coconut in them!
On my way home, I snacked on some cinnamon almonds for 5 points.
My AC in my car stopped working- so it was a LONG, HOT ride home. Better get that fixed in a hurry if we’re going to have hot weather like this! It’s been in the 80’s and 90’s all week- which is just insane for the beginning of May!
Seemed like everything wanted to break today!
It’s been a long day and a long, busy week. We had the in-laws for a meal on Sunday. We had guests at our home for two days. And I’m back to working long days at work now that school is out. I’m ready for the weekend! Tomorrow I have a short day since I worked a longer day on Tuesday- so that’s something to look forward to!
I’m planning on making salmon burgers for supper. I’ve already used 5 weekly points for the day. One of those days. I refuse to go over my points for the week this week though. So I will keep everything in line.
I’m going to post now, without supper pictures, so that as soon as hubby is home- we can take it easy!
I'm so excited to try the mocha coconut frap! They're having a deal until Monday where fraps are half off from 3-5, so I'm hoping to swing by this weekend and take advantage of that!!

I've gone a couple times this week and to celebrate the Fraps, they've had a guy playing live funky-soul-chill style music. Nice. They did suggest the Frap..I said, nah, and had my usual (venti iced Americano with cinnamon and my own liquid sucralose, , today with caff cause it wasn't after a workout, when I avoid caffeine so as not to impede the benefits). I sometimes splurge with half and half. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting for them to have coconut milk cocoas without sugar so that they taste like German Chocolate cake (how I make mine at home). Iced would be nice for summer. Yay.
Wow...you DID have a "breaking" day!! Hope today is more "in tact".
ReplyDeleteohh boy what a day. Sorry to hear about the air conditioning in your car....always has to be something!! I LOVE coconut too so I will have to look for that coffee next time I'm at Starbucks. I got some chocolate kisses with a creamy coconut filling on clearance and they are SOOO YUMMY!! I had Neal hide them from me :) This weather is sure strange the other day it was in the 80's and today I had to turn the heat on :/
