Grandma Dee’s Granola Review and Giveaway

11411 008

I received two packages of Grandma Dee’s Granola to review. Let me start off by saying, if you have a foodie on your Holiday list—buy them this granola!! Absolutely fabulous. And Hubby thinks so too!

There are quite a few things that I love about Grandma Dee’s Granola.

First, the ingredient list is just how I like it. I know what everything is and could find it in the grocery store. For example, I was sent two flavors to review, Nutty Granola and Organic Peanut butter and Banana.

Here are the Nutty Granola ingredients:

Oats, Almonds, Pecans, Hazelnuts, Pumpkin Seeds, Sunflower Seeds, Cranberries, Raisins, Maple Syrup, Wisconsin Honey, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Pure Cane Sugar, Sea Salt

And the Organic Peanut Butter and Banana Granola ingredients:

Oats, Organic Peanut Butter, Brown Rice Syrup, roasted and salted Peanuts, Wisconsin Cranberries, Michigan Cherries, Banana Chips, Raw Pumpkin Seeds, Raw Sunflower Seeds, Olive Oil.

Totally natural. Made from things of the earth. I love that.

Second, the flavor is phenomenal. I asked Hubby to tell me what he thought about the granola in one sentence. His response, “Extremely Good Stuff.” lol. But that pretty much sums it up! Both flavors were equally delicious. I especially loved the whole hazelnuts in the Nutty Granola. The nuts were good quality and crunchy. They weren’t full of oil and salt like a lot of nuts you find in packaged goods.

Thirdly, the nutrition information is pretty good.

This will be great on top of yogurt or added to cereal. It’s really good just to snack on too. The unique flavors in the mixes make every bite different than the last, as you can see in the ingredients list!
